City University of Seattle Forms Educational Partnership with Indian School of Business and Finance
CityU and ISBF Expand MBA Opportunities in India
In an ongoing effort to expand educational access around the world, City University of Seattle signed an agreement with Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF), based in New Delhi, India – aiming to increase MBA opportunities in India. ISBF is a well-established Affiliate Centre of the University of London International Programmes with academic direction from the London School of Economics; offering prestigious undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics, management and business.
MBA students at ISBF will be taught by CityU faculty via live synchronous learning technology, and will be able to interact with faculty in real time. While students take their courses online they will have the option to attend CityU’s main campus at 6th and Wall, located in downtown Seattle, for one or more quarters.
Upon signing the agreement, Dr. Jitin Chadha, Director of ISBF, expressed how this agreement will benefit both institutions and their student populations in students’ attempt to gain a better understanding of cultures around the world. ISBF is thrilled to announce this agreement as this is their next step toward being a truly global institute.
According to Lee Gorsuch, President of City University of Seattle, this agreement underscores CityU’s commitment to serving any student with the desire to learn, regardless of a student’s zip code or country ID. President Gorsuch and his leadership team are excited to grow the opportunities in India and work with ISBF to see that such opportunities are expanded in the region and beyond.
The first CityU/ISBF MBA cohort starts online on Fall of 2013. Both universities are projecting a minimum of 60 students to be in this first cohort. For more information about this program, please go to www.cityu.edu/India.
