Japanese Woodblock Prints

Wave paintingThe Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park has Japanese Woodblock Prints on display until July 4.  Even if one is not that familiar with this Japanese art form, it is really cool to see the original prints of well known ones such as the Well of the Wave off Kanagwa in its original.

Volunteer Park is also a great place to hang out and enjoy the view of the Space Needle. I would highly recommend not missing this chance to visit! For more information about opening hours and the exhibition visit http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/exhibit/exhibitDetail.asp?eventID=16658 .
